Dr. Reddy is a major addition to our Center as a neurosurgeon on our Deep Brain Stimulation team.
Chandan G. Reddy, MD is a graduate of Harvard University, where he completed a BA in cognitive neuroscience. He graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School in 2004 and completed residency training at the University of Iowa in 2011, where he also pursued epilepsy fellowship training under the mentorship of Dr. Matthew Howard.
After graduation, he pursued further fellowship training in peripheral nerve neurosurgery at the Mayo Clinic, under the mentorship of Dr. Robert Spinner. From 2012 to 2017, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Iowa, where he served as Co-Director of the Brachial Plexus Clinic, and as Associate Residency Program Director.
He recently joined the team at the University of Florida where he is developing the peripheral nerve practice and the well-established functional neurosurgery practice in spinal cord and deep brain stimulation. He also collaborates in the field of neural prosthetics, in developing advanced electrical devices to augment function of the central and peripheral nervous system.
