2016 Annual Parkinson’s Disease Symposium details

This year’s Annual Parkinson’s Disease Educational Symposium will be on Saturday, May 7th at 9 AM (doors open at 8AM to allow you to come in and register). We look forward to having talks about various topics including Patient Communication & Involvement in Health Care, Deep Brain Stimulation, How a Social Worker can help you, Botulinum Toxin in PD, and the importance of having a strong cough.

sfahnOur special guest speaker is Dr. Stanley Fahn, the founder and Emeritus Director of the Center for Parkinson’s Disease and other Movement Disorders and Columbia University. He also holds or has held various leadership roles in Parkinson’s Disease Foundation (PDF), Dystonia Medical Research Foundation (DMRF), Myoclonus Research Foundation, American Parkinson’s Disease Association (APDA), Michael J. Fox Foundation, and others.

A free lunch will be provided and the doctors and clinical team members will answer your questions during lunch in our “Ask the Doctor… Live” segment.
