Physical Therapy for Huntington Disease discussed at HDSA meeting

Meredith DeFranco, DPT, spoke at the annual Huntington Disease Society of America Convention which took place in Jacksonville, FL last week. She discussed:

  • How important it is to start therapy early
  • What kinds of things physical therapists will recommend
  • New technology options

Dr. DeFranco then led the attendees in some helpful example exercises.
