Two special Tourette Syndrome events this week

The Tourette Syndrome Association (TSA) is sponsoring a special informational session Thursday night August 16th here at the Center for Movement Disorders & Neurorestoration. Dr. Irene Malaty will speak about the syndrome. How to start a TSA support group in Gainesville will also be discussed. If you wish to attend, please RSVP with Jill Youngkin at

On Friday August 17th, the TSA and Centers for Disease Control are co-hosting the Tourette Syndrome (TS) Education Retreat for Medical Professionals from 8 AM – 3pm at the McKnight Brain Institute. Presenters include:

Michael Okun, MD- Professor, Dept. of Neurology,  Co-Director of the Center for Movement Disorders at UF, Co-chair Medical Advisory Board for Tourette Syndrome Association
